Li Ying embarked on her professional journey as a physiotherapist in 2007, accumulating over 18 years of extensive experience in both hospital and private practice environments. Her therapeutic methodology is a unique blend of manual therapy and movement strategies, tailored to meet the diverse needs of her patients. Li Ying holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Physiotherapy, a testament to her academic dedication and commitment to the field. She is a fully registered physiotherapist with the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council, ensuring that her practice adheres to the highest standards of professional conduct and care.
In addition to her foundational education, Li Ying has further specialized her skills by obtaining certification in Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation. This certification enhances her ability to integrate Pilates-based techniques into her treatment plans, promoting flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. She has also completed comprehensive training in Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model for Treating Women, which focuses on addressing the unique physiological needs of women, and Sharon Wheeler’s Cranium & Tail End, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of the body’s systems.
Li Ying has a particular passion for treating scar tissue, recognizing its impact on mobility and function. Her expertise in this area allows her to provide specialized care that addresses the complexities of scar tissue management, helping patients achieve optimal recovery and improved quality of life. She is currently undergoing Mcloughlin’s and Sharon Wheeler’s scar tissue training, which further enhances her capability to deliver effective scar treatment techniques.
Besides, she is also undergoing training with the Barral Institute in visceral and nerve manipulations. This advanced training equips her with the knowledge and skills to address issues related to internal organs and nervous system dysfunctions, contributing to a holistic approach to patient care. Li Ying’s dedication to continuous learning and professional development underscores her commitment to offering the highest quality of physiotherapy services to her patients.
