Zhi Yu is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with ten years of clinical experience. She graduated with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy with Merit from Nanyang Polytechnic and went on to obtain a Bachelors of Science (First Class Honours) from Glasgow Caledonian University.
Her professional experience spans several reputable institutions including Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Jurong Medical Centre, where she managed a broad spectrum of conditions such as acute and subacute medical conditions, burns and plastic surgery cases, and orthopaedic injuries. Through these experiences, she developed a strong interest in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, working extensively with clients presenting with conditions like repetitive strain injuries, tendon and ligament injuries and fractures.
In 2025, she furthered her expertise by completing a Post-Professional Master’s in Occupational Therapy and an Advanced Practicing Certificate in Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation from Tufts University. She has also completed the certified hand therapist exam credentialed by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.
Zhi Yu is passionate about delivering person-centred, evidence-based care that supports clients in restoring function and engaging in meaningful daily activities. She works closely with individuals to develop individualised rehabilitation plans that empower them to regain optimal use of their upper limbs and return to the activities that matter most to them.
