Kira Ho
Senior Physiotherapist

Kira is an Australian-trained physiotherapist practising since graduating from Curtin University in 2015. She is fully registered with both Singapore’s Allied Health Professions Council and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

After rotations in the public hospital system, Kira discovered her passion for holistic generalist care—combining expertise across multiple specialisations to design personalised rehabilitation programmes that empower patients to take charge of their recovery. With a decade of experience in public and private healthcare, she enjoys working with patients of all ages, from infants to older adults, across the full spectrum of care, from intensive care units to outpatient clinics and home-based therapy, enabling her to provide comprehensive, cradle-to-grave, person-centred care. Her clinical expertise spans post-operative care after orthopaedic and general surgery, neuro rehabilitation post-stroke, vestibular rehabilitation, paediatrics, weight management, chronic disease management, cardiac rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, and oncology rehabilitation.

Kira’s approach is deeply informed by her own journey as a patient—having undergone ACL reconstruction herself. This experience gave her first-hand insight into the physical challenges, frustrations, and emotional hurdles that patients face during recovery. It strengthened her commitment to practise with empathy, understanding, and patience, ensuring that every individual she treats feels supported not only physically, but emotionally and mentally throughout their rehabilitation.

Guided by the principle that prevention is better than cure, Kira addresses the root causes of conditions. She combines manual therapy with evidence-based exercises, integrating rehabilitation into everyday activities to help patients regain independence, confidence, and control over their bodies. She prioritises patient education and incorporates mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel seen, understood, and capable of achieving their goals.

As an avid climber, Kira extends rehabilitation beyond the clinic, helping patients reconnect with the movements they love. She integrates strength, conditioning, and climbing-specific techniques into her plans, guiding patients safely back to their sport while fostering self-efficacy and resilience. Her passion for climbing’s mental and emotional benefits led her to complete Climbing Therapy training in Psychotherapy & Experiential Education at Austria’s Institut für Therapeutisches Klettern, working with children and adults with neurodivergence and mental health conditions. This training deepened her understanding of how movement-based experiences can strengthen focus, emotional regulation, and confidence.

Kira’s philosophy is simple yet powerful: movement is medicine. By combining clinical expertise with empathy, personal experience, and a holistic approach, she empowers her patients to strengthen their bodies, regulate their minds, and embrace their full potential at every stage of life.
